My Prof

Support

Something not working?

My Prof is made by one small team, and the same people who wrote it answer the mail. [email protected].

What to tell us

  • What you were doing, and what happened instead.
  • Your macOS version and which Mac you have.
  • The email address on your account, if it is about your plan or a payment.

Please don't send your course material. We cannot read your data from here and we would rather not receive it — if we need something from a log, we will tell you exactly which line to look at.

The usual answers

It won't open
My Prof needs macOS 15 or later on an Apple Silicon Mac. Intel Macs are not supported.
I paid but it still says Free
Pro turns on when Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a minute. Reload your account page. If it is still Free after a few minutes, write to us with the email address you paid with.
I can't get the confirmation or reset code
Check the spam folder, and that the address is the one you typed. Codes last ten minutes; asking for a new one is safe.
I've forgotten my password
Use “Forgot your password?” on the account page. It emails a code, and the code lets you set a new one.
I deleted something by mistake
We cannot get it back. Your data lives only on your computer and we hold no copy of it — that is the trade the whole app is built around. Your own backups are the only route.
It got a term wrong
Expect some of that, especially with technical terms and names. Corrections you make are kept, and the app uses them.

Billing

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. From your account page you can update your card, switch between monthly and yearly, read your invoices, or cancel. Anything you cannot do there, we can — write to us.
